Here, all the senses are awakened, from the eyes that get lost in the beauty of the spectacular landscapes, to the plate, offering a cuisine inspired by the richness of the region. Chef Adrien Brunet excels in the art of sublimating local products and transmits emotion and refinement in his cuisine, a perfect balance of textures and flavors. La Madeleine, a mecca of gastronomy in Provence, has been awarded the coveted "Assiette Michelin" in 2021.

The Michelin Plate

In addition to the stars and the Bib gourmand, the famous Michelin guide, a veritable bible of French gastronomy, has been awarding a new title to certain establishments since 2016, "L'Assiette Michelin". The title honors establishments recognized for the virtuosity of their chef and the quality of their cuisine. The "Assiette Michelin" badge is awarded to restaurants that meet the definition: "the quality of the products and the chef's skill: simply a good meal".

The Chef, Adrien Brunet

Adrien Brunet's philosophy is that "the essence of a recipe is not to transform the product, but to accompany it, to sublimate it in its noblest form: its original taste". Originally from Berry, Chef Adrien Brunet is passionate about French cuisine and the richness of his region. He likes to cook locally and enjoys revisiting regional specialties with a Provencal touch, without ever altering the flavors. He selects quality products from the best producers in Provence. As an inspired and committed cook he imagines a table of sharing and responsibility.

La Madeleine, Michelin gastronomic restaurant

Awarded the "Assiette Michelin" macaron, the restaurant La Madeleine welcomes you in a sublime setting, in the fabulous Luberon region. In an intimate interior or on the terrace overlooking the Mont Ventoux valley, La Madeleine is a unique place that combines conviviality, authenticity, refinement and impeccable quality service. The interior of the restaurant wonderfully marries the warm colors and natural materials, such as wood. Outside, the lush nature is fully expressed in a soothing and striking atmosphere.

With his team, Chef Adrien Brunet has deeply immersed himself in the soul of the place and has had fun using the symbol of the madeleine as a red thread in his menu, as a discreet gourmet wink. It illustrates a perfect technical virtuosity, combined with a concern for purified simplicity claimed. At dinner, Chef Adrien Brunet will make you live a unique experience by making you discover his menu in four steps. On the plate, you will find dishes with evocative names inspired by the surrounding nature: "Balade en Prairie" or "Panier du Marché". Taste oysters from the Camargue, the Ventoux pig, smoked mussels from Carteau, pigeon from Sarrians marinated in lavender or a pearly Saint-Pierre. For dessert, discover sun-drenched fruits: Mazan cherries with a raw goat's milk sorbet and honey tuiles.
