Maisons Pariente

Hiking

Many paths are available to you from Crillon-le-Brave, in particular for the ascent of the Mont Ventoux, even if it is preferable to start from the village of Bédoin, because yes, the Giant of Provence can also be conquered on foot, while taking advantage of the splendid view on the surroundings. Each one has his own desires, each one has his own rhythm, but in any case, the extraordinary panoramas of the Ventoux await you. It will be useful to bring a warm garment because the temperatures at the top are often much cooler than in the valley.

The Mont Ventoux on foot

However, the Giant of Provence can also be conquered on foot, taking advantage of the splendid view on the surroundings. About 23 km and 7 hours of walking, that is to say 4 hours of ascent, 3 hours of descent (and we count a break of a good hour at the top). Finally, this ascent of the Mont Ventoux is not so difficult, despite its 1500 meters of positive difference in altitude, if not for its length. Make sure you have enough water, but also warm clothes to face the cold temperatures of the summit of Mont Ventoux. Anyway, when the weather is good on top of the Giant, it seems that you can see the Mediterranean Sea in the south and the Alps in the north.

According to your desires, explore the village and its surroundings, between vineyards and ochre quarries, on foot, on horseback, or by electric bike (hybrid bikes available at the hotel), trek, road or mountain bike. To each his own, to each his own rhythm, but in any case, the extraordinary panoramas of the Ventoux and the Luberon are waiting for you!
